All about us

Unprecedented times demand an unprecedented response and I have been thoroughly challenged by the cancellation of our beloved Spring Festival and the prospect of replacing our live theatre style events with those on a digital platform.

Nonetheless I am excited to announce the launch of The Listening Festival to present an exceptional variety of digital content including live-streamed and pre-recorded events, podcasts and archived talks.

As well as reaching our traditional fans we hope to attract new audiences by removing barriers of distance, economics and health.

We have always prided ourselves on responding to the key issues affecting us all and now more than ever I am considering the question of what is the role and responsibility of the writer in these unprecedented times.

Our small team (just four of us) have worked tirelessly to breathe life into The Listening Festival. Do join us and we hope you find much to enjoy.
