A free online "festival" of new and classic events for you to listen to or watch

 Hello there

Welcome to The Listening Festival.

Thanks for joining us on our mini digital adventure which was created to preserve some of the content from our Spring Festival, sadly cancelled due to Covid 19.

After a festival weekend (unlike any other!), thousands of you enjoyed our Live events from places as far afield as Colombia, Vermont, Iceland, The Netherlands and Ireland.

Do keep coming back to The Listening Festival for new events and #CLFPodcast episodes.

All our content will be freely available for the foreseeable future.

As a small charity we rely heavily on ticket sales, if you can please consider making a donation.
If not, don't worry, sit back, relax, look and listen.

We hope we can all be together again soon.

In the absence of our traditional Spring festival, we live-streamed and recorded  a series of events this weekend to keep you going until we can all meet again.

We have recorded them all so you can enjoy whenever you like.

ALEX CLARK

Journalist, Broadcaster, Festival Patron

Join Alex as she interviews world renowned writers, taking you into their imaginative worlds and having some much-needed fun on the way.

In unsettling times, reading becomes even more important - a balm for the mind, a source of comfort and a window into other worlds when our own can seem so frightening and unpredictable.

Drawing inspiration from our planned Spring festival, we’ve put together a selection of books to suit all tastes and moods – we hope you enjoy them as much as we did.

Could you help?
